  • A. It is up to each employer to determine how they might match your VSA savings. An employer has the option to not match at all or to implement a plan they are comfortable with.


  • A. First of all, on a regular and disciplined basis your payroll deductions (and potential company matches) add up so when it’s time to travel you have available funds. Limit the amount of credit card debt you may have had to incur. It’s smart and you are prepared.

  • A. Your debit card can be used at VSA’s travel partner network as shown in your VSA app. The beauty here is that these companies provide packages, flights, hotels, cruises and rental cars worldwide. You dream it and they will take you there.

  • A. You have access to all the money in your VSA account at any time. If you need this money you can withdraw in part or whole. If you do this any potential company matches funds are not included in your withdrawal and may disappear in whole or part.

  • A. Yes, as long as you use the VSA travel partner you can purchase travel for anyone you want. Bring Grandma home, send your daughter back to college or do a couple’s beach getaway. You’re the boss.

  • A. Yes, you are able to do this consistent with the HR policies of your company.

  • A. Simply use what you would like from your VSA account and then use a credit card to pay the balance. All completed in your single travel purchase.

  • A.The actual normal terms and conditions of Associated Bank and our travel partner will handle these situations accordingly. You will be treated as any of their respective customers in similar situations.

  • A. You are eligible to have 100% of your VSA savings immediately refunded to you. Or, you could purchase a travel package or travel credit before you leave.


  • A. While the travel provider will do its best to be competitive and provide ongoing specials and promotions, they cannot always guarantee the lowest price. We will do our best to ensure the overall experience is wonderful.
